A Day in the life of a Left Handed Person.

Ok, so I thought that I would share with everyone what it's like to be left handed. Maybe this will shed some insight into why left handed people are sometimes pissed off.
BEGINNING THE DAY...So a left hander's day starts off just like every other person's . We wake up, shower, and head out for class at Ohio State.
CLASS...Upon walking into class, we come across the first of many annoyances experienced by left handers. THE RIGHT HANDED CLASS DESK.
Trying to take notes in something like this it difficult enough, but now try to do it reaching across yourself because you are using your left hand and the writing pad is on your right.

Now they generally put about 1 or 2 left handed desks in a classroom to acommodate for our types. That would be fine, except that left handed desks are like crack to right handed people. It seams that every time a right handed person walks into a classroom, he or she flocks towards the left handed desk like it's the only desk in the room. I dont know if they do this just to piss us off, or if they really dont think that left handed people exist.
Therefore, class is uncomfortable and no notes are taken.

EATING....No like right handed people, the left handed species needs nourishment, and occasionally eats food. There are generally no problems with this process unless eating in a group. If anyone has ever sat next to a left handed person at the table, they know that it is un-comfortable and awkward. This is because left handed people eat with their left hands, which is not a problem unless they are eating to the right of a right handed person. Elbows bump, and everything is a mess. In fact, many left handed people generally sit to the right of right handers just to get them back for the desk thing. We find it very funny to watch you squirm.

PROJECTS.....So, there are many tasks that left handers perform on a daily basis that my in fact be the same as right handed people. However, some of these tasks are more annoying because they involve tools made for right handed people.
For example:Some point throughout the day, a left hander may need to use scissors. However, most scissors are built for right handed people. Left handers can use these scissors, but it is very annoying. So every time we do, we die a little inside.

Another example:Opening cans is sometimes necessary to eat. Once again, can openers are built for right handed people. So this is sometimes frustrating. That is why many left handed people generally open their cans with rocks and other such objects. Messy, but effective.

END OF DAYMany people don't know this, so don't let this out, but left handers think they are the superior race. Therefore, the end of the day for a left hander generally consists of attending secret, left handed meetings to plot taking over the world. These meetings generally consist of a social with pie and juice, followed by secret rituals. After which time, we scrabble. We would play gituar hero, but it is banned because gituars were built for right handed people. Therefore, left handed people can only play drums.

After that, we go home, watch some TV, and go to bed.
Summary:
The day of a left hander is not much different than a right hander. Occasionally, we get annoyed at your culture, but we learn to deal with it and bide our time.
So you should show some aprecciation for left handed people, because we are all great people. Also, if you are nice to us, we will show some love when we and the Canadians revolt and take over the world. That's right, we have Canada on our side. We are working on Poland. So you better watch your back.
Hey, this is Devin from your blogging class. If you guys ever need help, let me know.
Both my roomate and me have trucks. I also have access to a box truck. I can't imagine there is that much trash in the ravine that you would need a box truck, but if so, I can help. Just let me know when.
