Artist Statement

My statement will be different than others in this class because I am a Mechanical Engineer. As a mechanical engineer, I plan to eventually start my own business in research, consulting, or fabrication. I am not sure which of those routes I am going to go just yet. To get there, I am planning on going to graduate school and getting a masters in Mechanical Engineering. I am then going to get a job and save money. While I am saving money, I am going to also attend night school and get an MBA. Therefore, I will have the education, the experience, and hopefully the money to start a business of my own.

I already have experience running a racing team. If possible, I would like to eventually start a company that caters to this. There is alot of money in racing and it is a blast. This is a very competative market, however.

This class has helped me get some good ideas on how to market online. I have also learned how to start a blog, and do a little work with HTML code. This is all why I wanted to take this class.
